📢Yoplanning Updates – October 2024
October was a month full of improvements on Yoplanning! We added new features to simplify the management of reservations and payments, while optimizing the performance and stability of the platform. Here is a summary of the most important updates.
🎉 New Features and Improvements
🔹 Easy on-site payment: It is now possible to set up a 0% deposit on bookings. This means that customers do not pay anything online and pay in full on-site. However, a commission is still applied to the order amount.
🔹 New search field in sessions: An advanced search field now allows you to find a session based on the name of the product or the instructor, even if the latter no longer belongs to the team. This makes it easier to manage schedules, especially when teams change.
🔹 Support for contactless payment (Tap to Pay) with Stripe Terminal 🏦📲: You can now accept payments by Tap to Pay directly from the Yoplanning application (update required to Android/iOS v2.7.0).
🔹 Improvements on promo codes:
It is now possible to associate a promo code with a prepaid plan.
The promo code list now displays the number of uses remaining and their status (valid or expired).
🔹 Improved exports and emails 📩 :
Article export now includes the referring customer email for better tracking.
Email CCs are now sent as blind carbon copy (BCC) for added privacy.
The business introducer is also blind carbon copy in booking emails.
🔹 Better management of taxes and accounting:
A new admin tool allows you to check that taxes are correctly applied to teams using the accounting module.
For invoices, only the first and last session date are now displayed in the options, making reading clearer.
🔧 Fixes and optimizations
✅ Stripe Express Payments Fix: A bug that prevented some direct payments via Stripe Express is now fixed.
✅ Optimization of adding products and resources:
When adding a product, a bug prevented the complete copy of the unit price, this is now fixed.
Reseller validation was not triggering correctly, this issue is also fixed.
✅ Corrections on sessions and planning 🗓 :
In the monitor assignment interface, unavailable monitors are no longer displayed to avoid confusion.
✅ Various corrections on the Reservation Module:
The session date displayed in the cart was sometimes incorrect for internships, this has been corrected.
✅ Redesign and improvement of the customer credit system:
Credit storage has been redesigned and is now directly integrated into Purchase Orders (POs), which avoids having a separate customer account.
The residual value of a BC is now displayed instead of the initial purchase price, for more precise management.
